Popular third-party mail client, Spark, has today updated app supporting Siri Shortcuts. The app updated hence do three things with Siri: open a folder, search your email, and compose an email.
The introduction of Siri Shortcuts in iOS 12 has laid the foundation for making proactive assistant like features available to anyone who owns a smartphone. The ease at which Apple has made it possible to configure your shortcuts, the presence of the gallery in the Shortcuts app has made it possible for more and more people to adopt and embrace these kinds of automation.
Of course, you need iOS 12, in order during work. While Spark supports Siri Shortcuts, does not support Shortcut app yet. This will not be able to create automation includes Spark, but rather only do single Spark related commands.
A ton of developers take advantage of Siri Shortcuts, adds support for their apps such as Philips Hue and Overcast. So far, support for Siri Shortcuts looks good with hopes were more developers continue adding support for the feature as well as the Shortcuts app.
