Aaron Sorkin To Pen Steve Jobs’ Biopic

Not long ago, Aaron Sorkin, won an Oscar for writing the screenplay of “The Social Network,” the movie telling the story behind the foundation of Facebook.

Now Sorkin is moving from Facebook to Apple. According to the reports in Variety magazine, Sony has hired Sorkin to turn Walter Isaacson’s “Steve Jobs” biography into a feature film.

Sony had acquired the movie rights to Isaacson’s biography a couple weeks before it was released in October 2011. There are rumors surrounding this movie that either George Clooney or Noah Wyle will play the character of Steve Jobs in the movie.

Another unrelated and independent film on Steve Jobs biopic is scheduled to begin filming this month. This film, with the working title “Jobs,” stars Ashton Kutcher and covers the life of Steve Jobs from 1971 to 2000. “Jobs” is slated to be released in the fourth quarter of this year.

There is no relation between two movies on Steve Jobs and you should not be confused about the same as the movie starring Ashton Kutcher will focus only on the youth of Steve Jobs.
