For more than a month now we are reading news and rumors of the Apple’s annual media event which generally takes place in September, but nobody knew as to when it would happen.
A report by Bloomberg recently said that according to two sources, Apple’s annual September media event is scheduled to happen on the 7th of September this year.
“Apple plans to hold a San Francisco event September 7, two weeks ahead of the start of the new prime-time TV season,” according to the report, “to unveil the service and a refreshed line of entertainment products.”
The event always happens in September but there’s a question about when exactly, and what would be the key focus of the event. Apple isn’t offering any clues as to the exact date though. An Apple representative said, “We don’t comment on rumors and speculation.”
Besides new pricing for some iTunes content, Apple is also expected to unveil a $99 reworked version of Apple TV, new iPods, including an iPod Touch with “retina” display and front-facing camera, and FaceTime calling.
