Apple has been defeating Samsung in terms of sales and revenue in various countries.
Some Apple Fanboys say that this is because Samsung often copies from Apple.
Rivalry apart, we are talking about a research.
Data vendor MM Research Institute has tracked smartphone sales in Japan. It has discovered the iPhone is greatly outselling its competitors. A report on these latest found statistics was published in Computerworld.
According to the company’s analysis, about 24.2 million smartphones were shipped in Japan and 30 percent were iPhones. On the other hand, Samsung accounted for only 8.3 percent of the total smartphone shipments in the country. Most of Apple’s success in Japan is attributed to the iPhone 4S which is sold by Au and Softbank.
