Apple Is Removing Sexual Content On The App Store

Apple is removing Apps from the App Store that are “overtly sexual”. Apple claims they do this because they get numerous of complaints about sexual content in the App Store. “Wobble iBoobs” got removed from the App Store this week because of the new guidelines Apple introduced. Wobble iBoobs has no sexual content in and of itself, it just applies a “wobble” graphical effects to any photo you choose, Wobble has already been downloaded 970.000 times.

The letter Developer Chillifresh received from apple due to complaints Apple has received:

“The App Store continues to evolve, and as such, we are constantly refining our guidelines. Your application, Wobble iBoobs (Premium Uncensored), contains content that we had originally believed to be suitable for distribution. However, we have recently received numerous complaints from our customers about this type of content, and have changed our guidelines appropriately.

We have decided to remove any overtly sexual content from the App Store, which includes your application.”
