According to analyst predictions , Apple could sell 3.8 million Macs for the September quarter, a 23 percent increase over the same period in 2009. Well this would put the Cupertino company slightly ahead of Wall Street expectation of 3.7 million.
NPD Group also suggest Apple could break its previous record set in the June quarter as when the company sold 3.47 million Macs and this predictions can be true depending upon sales. Recently the average retail price of Macs fell about 2.9 percent in September, compared to 2009, according to analysts at the NPD Group.
At present the sales of iPods has been in decline, the NPD numbers point to sales between 10 million and 10.5 million is also higher than Wall Street predictions.
According to Piper Jaffray,he says that it will be difficult to figure into these latest figures.
