Apple Responds: “We do not Agree with All the Statements Made by Google”

voice_logoApple has responded to Google’s claim that Apple had rejected Google Voice application from the iPhone App Store.

They have fired back that they don’t agree with all the statements made by Google and they’ve reiterated that the Google Voice application was not rejected.

Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris has responded to the full public disclosure of Google’s letter to FCC:

“We do not agree with all of the statements made by Google in their FCC letter. Apple has not rejected the Google Voice application and we continue to discuss it with Google.”

But in a blog post, Google said:

“We continue to work with Apple and others to bring users the best mobile Google experience possible.”

The positive thing from today’s statements is that both Apple and Google have mentioned that they continue to work together.

Let’s hope it results in Google Voice iPhone app finally making its appearance on the App Store.
