Apple on Thursday seeded the latest beta of Mac OS X 10.6.5, its forthcoming security and maintenance update for the Snow Leopard operating system, with no known issues.
A report by iphoneincanada.ca said, just six days after Apple seeded the first build of Mac OS X 10.6.5 to developers, it has followed up with a second one termed Build 10H529.
People familiar with the latest beta 10H529 said, Apple has asked developers to focus on 3D graphics, Mail, printing, QuickTime, and the X Windows X11 subsystems.
Mac OS X 10.6.5 will mark the fifth maintenance revision to the latest Apple operating system Snow Leopard.
The Delta Update is reportedly a 558MB download. Apple began the seeding OS X 10.6.5 project in July 2010. As usual Apple’s development schedule is so unpredictable and new, that nobody knows what’s next.
