Apple’s Vice President Of Europe Steps Down
French newspaper Le Figaro has reported that that Pascal Cagni is resigning from his position as Apple’s Vice President (VP) of Europe.
In 2000, Cagni was hired by Steve Jobs. He served as Apple’s European VP for 12 years. He was responsible for Apple’s explosive growth in the EMEA (it stands for Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, which saw growth in revenue. The revenue grew from US $1 billion to $19 billion per year under his leadership.
At the time of writing this news report, this resignation has not been confirmed by Apple or Cagni.
