A new aerial photo of construction on Apple’s campus 2 shows the quick progress happening on the location. All buildings on the site have been bulldozed to make way for the construction to start.

The region where the circular based building will be constructed is cleared out and one can easily get an idea of where the actual campus will be placed. Apple has made headway in this project quickly, which first begun last year November after receiving unanimous approval.

Apple’s second campus is situated close to the current campus of the company. The initial phase of construction in intended to include a 2.8 million square foot ring-shaped main building with an underground parking facility to house roughly about 2,400 cars.

The second phase of construction will house a 100,000 square foot fitness centre along with an auditorium of 120,000 square foot. An additional 600,000 square feet is estimated for innovation and research, office and other supporting buildings.

The tentative year of completion is 2016 in Apple is hoping to finish the first phase of construction.
