RIM has just announced their iPad tablet competitor, the BlackBerry PlayBook. They’re marketing it as the world’s first professional tablet and the specs look great, nearly as though it was specifically designed to counter-program the iPad. The tablet has a 7-inch screen with 1GHz dual-core processor. The device consist of 1080p video with HDMI and in addition front and rear cameras with HMTL5 and Flash 10.1 . The tablet memory can go up to 1GB of Ram and they are built on based on QNX OS .
Well if RIM isable to execute and get developer support the PlayBook can also become one of the bestselling Tablets in 2011. Moreover, in 2011 the Android 3.0 Tablets based on NVIDIA Tegra will also be on the market and additionally the iPad is going to extend its market domination this fall as RIM is not able to offer the PlayBook this year.
