Apple dramatically transformed the design of MacBook Pro line of notebooks by embracing aluminum as one of the core components used in production. By doing this, Apple benefitted and the industry in a whole flourished. Now, the company is prepared to revolutionize sapphire manufacturing in a corresponding way, but Verge argues that ,its solely Apple who is going to benefit from this move.

When Apple gave an introduction to aluminum unibody MacBook Pros back in 2008, the company was depended on third-party suppliers to furnish the material needed for notebook production. Apple’s support helped manufacturers to scale up production levels and meet the growing demand for unibody machines.

Keycard for Mac is an app best avoided!

Keycard from Appuous is advertised as an app which keeps your Mac protected by locking your OS X user account automatically when you’re away from it.Screen Shot 2013-01-30 at 5.33.56 PM It does this by using your Bluetooth connection to check for your iOS device’s (iPhone or iPad) presence, thereby detecting when you’ve stepped away from your computer or come back to it. Unfortunately, this sounds good only in theory.

To be fair, the idea seems pretty cool as the app turns your iOS device into a virtual ‘keycard’ of sorts. The execution, however, is terrible. There are glaring issues you will come across.

This much awaited iMac features a dazzling design, brilliant display with reduced reflection, faster processors and an innovative new storage option called Fusion Drive will be a craze for all computer lovers. According to Apple Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Phil Schiller “this is the eighth generation and the most beautiful iMac we have ever made. It features a 5mm edge, edge-to-edge glass, LED-backlit display with IPS technology, a FaceTime HD camera, dual mics, four USB 3 ports, two Thunderbolt ports, OS X Mountain Lion, Bluetooth 4.0, and more”.

New iMacs To Go On Sale As Early?

A Belgian Site has come out with claims that iMacs will be on sale from tomorrow. According to the Belgium-iphone.lesoir.be, Apple will be delivering the new 21.5″ inch iMac to Apple Premium Resellers in Belgium starting on Wednesday while the 27″ inch iMac model is still as scheduled for December as per Apple’s last month’s announcement. Sources were heard saying that Apple plans to delay both the iMac models until 2013, but as always Apple is always up for surprises.  Finally ending the eager wait Apple announced November and December as the lucky months.
