Flappy Bird’s game developer, Dong Nguyen is reintroducing the game in August according to an update. In an interview with CNBC, he commented the new version will be a multiplayer game and ‘less addictive’ than the previous version. Apparently, Nguyen withdrew Flappy Bird from the App Stores in February due to unanticipated attention, which was personally not liked by him.

Logic Pro X Updated With Enhancements And Bug Fixes


Logic Pro X published an update today with enhancements and bug fixes. The app now supports 12-core Mac Pros more efficiently, which will now use up to 24 threads at once. While using Low Latency Mode fixes have been done to pace sequencer issues. Alignment guides have been implemented along with several XML import and export bugs been taken care of.

Auction For Lunch With Tim Cook Closes With An Earning Of $330,001

An auction amount of $330,001 will be given to the RFK Center for Justice & Human Rights by Apple. The auction took place for an hour to join Tim Cook for a lunch meeting at Apple’s Cupertino headquarters. This year’s auction closed at a lesser amount as compared to last year’s coffee charity meeting with Tim Cook which concluded with an amount of $610,000.

The auction sum will be donated to the RFK Center for Justice & Human Rights, a charity which runs with a goal to achieve “a just and peaceful world by partnering with human rights leaders, teaching social justice and advancing corporate responsibility.”

Apple Makes Available iOS Developer Interface Design Guidelines Book to iBooks

Downloaded books can be read with iBooks on a Mac or iOS device. Earlier, the guidelines were only accessible for Apple developer portal. The availability of the guidelines in the iBookstore will encourage designing of iOS 7 apps simpler.

Apple Planning To Introduce HD Audio Playback For iOS 8

According to Macotakara, a Japanese blog, Apple plans to introduce high definition audio playback in iOS 8 besides the new versions of its In-Ear Headphones and Lightning connector.

While going through a report which was published last month, Apple is expected to announce high-fidelity iTunes music downloads at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2014, this addition will enable high-quality audio files to be played on iOS 8 compatible devices.
