Apple comes up with Magnetic Apple Watch Dock for $79

Reported by TechCrunch, Apple has launched a magnetic charging dock for Apple watch for $79.

This charging dock launched by Apple, enables users to charge the Apple Watch in both Flat and Nightstand mode. The dock comes with an additional 2M lightning cable which gets attached to the bottom of the dock, providing charge to the magnetic adapter at its center. We managed to pull in few images of the accessory along with an unboxing video of the same uploaded on YouTubes channel via 9to5 Mac.

Will iWatch Be Renamed?

The world’s largest swiss manufacturer of watches, Swatch has undertaken a measure to protect its similar sounding product iSwatch to that of iWatch which has gone into production in small quantities by Apple. The action taken states the use of iSwatch label to iWatch which is too similar to their product, said CEO Nick Hayek, Swatch Group.

Swatch is looking at blocking Apple Trademarks for the name ‘iWatch’ because of their in-house line of watches called ‘iSwatch’. The company officials say they are going to fight the trademarks for iSwatch, but we don’t have any news on how they plan to proceed with their assertion on protecting their label.

The much self-promotion iWatch has been capturing and the natural pre-launch phenomena which a user goes through when its Apple, keeps evolving with every new product launch.
