Core iPhone Multitouch Patent Won By Apple

iPhone Patent

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has awarded Apple a new patent. This patent is regarding the core iPhone multitouch functions and involves the oscillator signal and circuit, that are key to sensing when someone is touching the iPhone display.

This must be a great achievement for Apple since the victory of a patent battle against HTC, that resulted in a ban on the sales of HTC Android phones from 2012. Apple was recently awarded another patent that covers the ability to switch to an app while on a phone call.
