There seems to be no end to the number of features in your iOS devices. Some are well-known, familiar to everyone. Some are hidden and known only to experts.
Today we are talking about a little known feature in Apple’s iOS operating system. This feature is about the ability to “swipe to delete” certain items. You can use the gesture to remove songs, podcasts, videos, text messages, emails, and more from your device, but not audiobooks. Why? We have no idea.
That is why, here is a procedure that tells you how you can delete audiobooks directly from your device. You would not need a computer to do that.
STEP 1 – First, you should open up the Settings app on your device. Tap first on the ‘General’ tab and then on the ‘Usage’ tab.
STEP 2 – Under the ‘Storage’ heading, you will see a list of with a list of content that is occupying space on your device. Tap on the ‘Music’ app.
STEP 3 – Within this menu you will find all the audiobooks currently installed on your device. To delete one, simply swipe your finger along it to reveal the ‘Delete’ button. You can also use the ‘Edit’ button in the top right-hand corner to delete them quicker if you want to remove more than one audiobook.
