As we reported earlier, that Apple will replacing the First Generation iPod Nanos that were prone to battery heating issues.
It was necessary to replace them as batteries were prone to catch fire in some cases.
Apple has started replacing the devices for the users of First Generation iPod Nano.
However, those who were hoping and expecting the devices to be replaced with current generation iPod Nano are in for disappointment because Apple is not doing that. Apple will be replacing devices with refurbished and redeveloped models of the first generation device that went out of production five years ago.
For some users, the appearance and design of new iPod nano (first generation) is similar to the old one.
