Absinthe, the untethered jailbreak utility for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S has received a new update. The new jailbreak tweak has now been updated to version 0.4 and it brings compatibility with Leopard.
It has also fixed few other bugs.
*Mac: added support for OSX 10.5, PPC and Intel CPU
*added consistency check on startup to make sure required files are in place
*Windows: fixed bug in payload generator that might cause a crash
If you have already jailbroken on iOS 5 or iOS 5.0.1 on your iPhone 4S or iPad 2, then there is no need to re-jailbreak with the latest update. This update seems to address issues with the process itself opposed with issues on board the device.
Now the user-base of Absinthe is certain to increase.
