iPad moving out of Target, as customers started buying
The iPad has gone on sale at one of the country’s largest retail chains. The Target has begun selling iPads at its stores, starting at $499. The chain has high hopes of bringing more tech-savvy customers into its 1,743 stores in time for the all-important holiday shopping season. Analysts have predicted big sales numbers for iPad in the last quarter of 2010, and expanding the retail presence of the device should boost Apple’s bottom line.
As for now, Target is only offering the iPad in-store. However, if you want to order one for delivery then you can still have an order from Apple’s online store but you need to pay heavy state taxes if you live in California. The only better option is to buy from the Authorized Apple store, the Target.
