iPhone 4S To Release In China And 21 Countries On 13 Jan

Finally iPhone 4S is coming to China.

We reported earlier about the strong possibility of iPhone 4S being released in China in January 2012.

Now the date has been decided as 13 January 2012. That’s right! Apple fanboys in China and 21 other countries will get iPhone 4S on this date.

iPhone 4S is coming to mainland China, just ten days before Chinese New Year that would be on 23 January 2012. The iPhone 4S was released in Hong Kong in early November 2011. It became instantly popular despite not featuring Mandarin Chinese as one of the languages. Apple said that the iPhone 4S, as well as its personal assistant Siri, will support Mandarin in 2012.

“Customer response to our products in China has been off the charts,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a statement. “With the launch in China next week, iPhone 4S will be available in over 90 countries making this our fastest iPhone rollout ever.”

Apart from China, the iPhone 4S will be released in Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Botswana, British Virgin Islands, Cameroon, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Grenada, Guam, Guinea Conakry, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Niger, Senegal, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos, and Uganda as well.
