Hacker pod2g had created a dream team to jailbreak iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Twitter followers all hackers in that team were excited when it was announced that jailbreak for the A5 Chip in iPhone 4S and iPad 2 was one step closer.
Now pod2g is back with a video, showing the jailbreak of iPhone 4S.
pod2g has updated his blog with a video by Chronic Dev Team member, DHowett. The video shows running an untethered iPhone 4S jailbreak on iOS 5.0.1. The video runs down everything you would expect from rebooting the device to show an untethered state and launching Cydia and showing that the device ID is indeed an iPhone 4S.
pod2g says this means now it is not going to be a long wait and we have wait “a few more”. Not sure if “a few more” implies days, months or years. Non-A5 iPhone and iPad owners can untethered jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 right now because the earlier jailbreak ran on all devices except iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
