iPhone 5 May Have Aluminium Back Plate Similar To iPad 2
Here comes, a new iPhone 5 rumor. This time the rumor is about Apple’s important design and specifically the back casing of the iPhone 5.
With a back plate of iPhone made of aluminum, it looks strikingly similar to the back plate of iPad 2. iPhone’s back plate has matte aluminium finish and curved design. If this iPhone falls from one meter, only one side would shatter. Not both.
Other speculation reports from like BGR say that a rubber or plastic material will be used in the iPhone chassis. There is a possibility that it would be used as a bezel surrounding the front of the phone as found in the iPhone 3GS. It will join the glass with the back plate, cover a redesigned antenna surrounding the device and be a similar material to that was used in the iPhone 4 bumper cases. This might reduce the possibility of reception issues despite an all metal backing. This is quiet similar to the iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G.
The report reiterates the probability of a 4-inch display on the iPhone 5, backing up rumors that we have seen so far. The report speculates that the iPhone 5 might release in October 2012. Are you waiting for iPhone 5? What are your expectations from iPhone 5? Tell us in the comments section.
