Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre May Enjoy the Dais at Apple’s WWDC 2014
Jimmy Lovine and Dr. Dre, who are anticipated to take up senior roles after Apple’s possible acquisition of Beats Electronics may enjoy the dais at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) scheduled to take place in June. Both the co-founders are expected to make their first appearance at the upcoming conference.
According to sources, Apple may introduce the entrants during the conference, while Lovine is speculated to look after creative matters, he might be appointed as the new music chief at Apple and Dr. Dre’s possible role speculated is supervising Apple’s music strategy, securing deals and maintaining relationships with music brands.
Apple is currently is in the final stage of negotiations of the acquisition for a $3.2 billion dollars. The nucleus of this deal is Jimmy lovine who will draw in his age-old experience of music and bring about a refreshing change in iTunes Music and Media section. Beats Electronics which provides a music subscription service will also be leveraged by Apple in the best possible way. The deal is speculated to be announced sometime early this week.
