Last weekend, Apple released a minor fix for its Aperture software for Mac OS X.
The Cupertino, California-based company released Aperture version 3.3.1 for download on its support website and in the Mac App Store.
The latest release was intended to address an issue that could cause the program to hang or quit unexpectedly when upgrading libraries. The size of the new update is 528.37 MB and it has been recommended for all Aperture 3 users. It is compatible with OS X Lion 10.7.4 or later to use the updated software.
The support page for Aperture 3.3.1 is here.
For those of you who were unaware, Aperture got a significant upgrade to version 3.3 earlier in the month to add Retina Display compatibility to support the new MacBook Pro. Other additions to the major update included a unified photo library with iPhoto, support for Advanced Video Coding High Definition (AVCHD) video, and a number of other tools and tweaks.
Alongside the Aperture update, Apple also released a large set of new OS X printer drivers for a range of manufacturers.
