New 21.5-inch iMac Hits The Market On Friday November 30

Apple has one more pleasant announcement to make…..it’s all new 21.5-inch iMac will hit the market on Friday, November 30. This new iMac is the most advanced desktop Apple has ever created. The new iMac has been redesigned to introduce a high performance technology and features a reengineered display that reduces reflection by 75 percent. This much awaited iMac features a dazzling design, brilliant display with reduced reflection, faster processors and an innovative new storage option called Fusion Drive will be a craze for all computer lovers. According to Apple Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Phil Schiller “this is the eighth generation and the most beautiful iMac we have ever made. It features a 5mm edge, edge-to-edge glass, LED-backlit display with IPS technology, a FaceTime HD camera, dual mics, four USB 3 ports, two Thunderbolt ports, OS X Mountain Lion, Bluetooth 4.0, and more”.

The 21.5-inch iMac is available in two versions. The first version is 2.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 model with Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz is available for $1,299, featuring 8GB of 1600MHz memory, 1 TB hard drive, , third generation quad-core Intel Core i5 processors that can be upgraded to Core i7 and a NVIDIA GeForce  graphics processor with 512MB of GDDR5 memory. The 2.9GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 model (Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz) is available for $1,499, featuring similar specs, except a 1TB (5400-rpm) hard drive that can be configured into a Fusion Drive. Fusion Drive is an innovative new storage option that gives customers the performance of flash. The second version is 2.9 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.6 GHz and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M for a suggested retail price of $1,499 (US).

The Apple also has a 27-inch version iMac on its way WHICH is set to launch sometime in December, according to Apple. CEO Tim Cook comments below:

On the iMac we’ll be constrained for the full quarter in a significant way… there will be a short amount of time to manufacturer and ramp those and I expect demand to be robust… we will have a significant shortage”.

The iMacs will be available through the Apple Online Store, Apple’s retail stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers. The countdown begins..
