New iPad Gets Cleared By Chinese Regulators
Taking a break from the poor management from Foxconn and extortion attempts from Proview, we are presenting a new Apple-related headline coming out of China that is a good news not just for Apple management in Cupertino, California, but also for iPad lovers in China.
Apple’s third-generation iPad is on its way to going on sale in China. Apple has secured regulatory approval from the Chinese regarding its Wi-fi only model.
“As recently as last week, China’s Quality Certification Center granted that Cupertino slate — bearing model number A1416 — its seal of approval, paving the way for a retail debut in the region.”
At the moment, no official launch date for iPad has been confirmed or announced by Apple. However, the launch can be expected in near future.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Apple CEO Tim Cook was in China on Monday. He was photographed inside of an Apple store there. Nobody knows why Cook is in China. The are speculations that he is there to meet with wireless carriers in the hopes of finalizing deals to bring the iPhone to every Chinese consumer who wants one, across multiple carriers.
As Cook recently stated himself, “China is very important to us and we look forward to even greater investment and growth there.”
