Porn producers against illegal downloaders

Is not a new thing about filing lawsuits against illegal downloaders and even Hollywood film studios and record labels has done so. Now is the turn of porn producers. A few weeks ago producers banded together to file lawsuits of their own. The producers are also targeting YouTube like streaming video sites.

Now whether or not the lawsuits filed by movie studios and record labels have proven effective against a small number of users as a deterrent to piracy. The reason for embarrassment is exposing of sexual fantasies to friends, family and colleagues might make the method more effective for owners of adult content.

Why the producers has targeted the users is that as when they download, they enter the titles that prominently feature transsexuals and “barely legal” 18-year old girls. More ever, the lawsuits are on public record, the defendants’ porn-viewing habits would be exposed.

According to Pink Visual President Allison Vivas told the AFP, “When it comes to private sexual fantasies and fetishes, going public is probably not worth the risk that these torrent and peer-to-peer users are taking.”
