RedSn0w Updated With Stability Improvements
RedSn0w is back. This time with a new update.
If you have been experiencing problems jailbreaking your A4 devices using RedSn0w, it is time to be happy and smile.
The Dev Team has just released an update for the popular utility.
The new software, now at version 0.9.10b5c, includes a number of stability improvements and bug fixes. The Dev Team posted the update to its blog with the following message:
“Updates #5b and #5c: Version b5b fixes an issue with using custom ramdisks on iPhone3G and iPod2G, and version b5c prevents redsn0w from crashing due to the ever-growing ramdisk size.
TIP: If auto-detection fails and redsn0w tells you no identifying data as wound, you can always pre-select the appropriate 5.0.1 IPSW using “Extras->Select IPSW”.”
How was your experience of using the new version of RedSn0w? Post your comments.
