Apple Granted 12 Patents in China
On December 23, 2011, Apple filed for the trademark and icon for “Available on the App Store” under applications 302118690 in China and 010520054 in Europe. Apple has been granted twelve design patents in China. These patents cover the iPad dock and many iPad 2 components.

We care not talking about any update or upgrade for the set-top-box or media player called Apple TV. There are rumors that Apple are considering to launch an actual TV set. According to the reports in DigiTimes, Apple’s supply chain is preparing materials for a pair of iTV sets in Q1 2012. The first two iTV models will be measuring 32 inches and 37 inches respectively. These are expected to be TV sets, not just set-top boxes like Apple TV.
