Apple prepares to launch iPhone 4S in Taiwan while allowing subscription-based games on iPad.
iPhone 4S to be launched in Taiwan in December
Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) are three largest mobile carriers in Taiwan. They are requesting Apple to reduce the price of iPhone 4S and trying to get iPhone 4S launched in Taiwan as soon as possible. Though, Apple is neither confirming nor denying the news, there are speculations that iPhone 4S would be launched in Taiwan around 14-16 December 2011.
Apple allows subscription-based gaming on iPad
Apple has allowed Big Fish Games to offer its games in a subscription-based model. For US $6.99 a month, iPad users will access to the entire iPad games library of Big Fish. Games can be streamed at iPad or downloaded in entirety. Big Fish Games will also offer free and ad-supported access to its game library for 30-minutes per day.
AT&T admits about hacking attempt
AT&T has acknowledged this past Monday that there was an organized attempt to hack information on about 1 million AT&T wireless customers. However, AT&T insists that the attempt of hacking was unsuccessful and the information of users is safe.
