After successfully winning the right to enter American market in a court, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab is ready to hit the sky and fly to new heights with American Airlines.
Apple fanboys may not like it despite being accused of copying the design of Apple’s iPad, Galaxy Tab has succeeded in bagging that what could one of its biggest Android product partnerships to date.
This deal will help brand the Galaxy Tab as a high-class entertainment device suitable for business executives and the like. Galaxy Tab has been integrated in the first and business class cabins on select 767 aircraft from American Airlines. The purpose of Galaxy Tab will be to effectively become the new in-flight entertainment system that would give users a proprietary American Airlines interface where they can watch videos and listen to music. More than 70 movies have been loaded onto tablet.
