Today, Apple, according to a French blog Consomac, has filed about six new apple watch model numbers which includes; A1977, A1978, A1975, A1976, A2007 and A2008 with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and all of these models run watchOS 5. Meanwhile the filings are required legally for any encrypted devices sold in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. These model numbers have been said to likely correspond with the rumored Apple Watch Series 4, which is also expected to be unveiled at the Apple Event in September alongside the widely rumored trio of new iPhone models, new Air Pods, and lots more.
There are also similar fillings with the EEC that have been submitted in the past, for the lower cost of 9.7 inch iPad, 10.5 inch iPad Pro and 12.9 inch iPad Pro, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus, Apple Watch Series 2, AirPods, and the 2018 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. According to Macrumours, it is usually within one to two weeks before each product was released. It was really obvious that Series 4 models are coming out next month, but the filings have already eliminated any remaining doubt.
this year’s filling is quite unique in the sense that; currently, there are about six Apple Watch Series 4 Model numbers that haven’t been released, and the ‘Series 3’ lineup, has about eight model numbers i.e., two aluminum GPA and six LTE models which includes variants such as; aluminum, stainless steel, as well as ceramic in two sizes. However, there is a great possibility, according to speculations that there might not be ceramic Series 4 models.
Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo, earlier this year, said that the Apple Watch Series 4 Models will feature a 15 percent larger display, longer battery life, and improved health monitoring capabilities.
Meanwhile Apple will likely hold its next event on Wednesday, September 12,
