BGR is claiming to have received information from a “trusted source” indicating that Apple will demonstrate the operating system for its television set at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) this month. BGR did not reveal the name of a source.
Quoting “informed sources”, the China Business Daily is reporting that Apple might have begun the production of the first prototypes of its much-anticipated connected television sets. If this report is true, the production is set at one of its overseas manufacturing facilities ahead of a general production ramp, which is expected to begin late 2012.
Recently, Foxconn CEO Terry Gou had leaked information about Foxconn manufacturing the rumored television set from Apple. Obviously, his comments would enraged Apple who are well-known for their secrecy regarding projects under development.
