Tutorial on how to eject CD from Mac

Here are the steps that has to be followed in-order to eject CD from Mac.

Hope you know that Macs does not have an eject button on the disc tray that can be used to open it. User who are using a Mac for the first time will find this very frustrating and they will be left clueless about what to do, until someone tells them.

Here are the following ways on how to eject CD from Mac.

Step 1.
All the Apple keyboards include an eject key, located in the upper right corner of the keyboard. Press the eject key to eject the CD or DVD from the drive.

Step 2.
On any keyboard, Press and hold F12 key for a few seconds. This will take some time, but it will open your disc tray as well.

Step 3.
When you insert a disc into a Mac, an icon for it appears on the desktop. All you need to do is drag this icon to the Trash, and this should make your disc tray open, thus enabling you to eject the disc.

Step 4.
Some applications, such as iTunes, Disk Utility, and Toast, have an eject command in a menu or toolbar. Launch the application and use the eject command to eject the CD or DVD.

Open the Disc Utility pane, and then find the disc is inside the machine at that point in time. Now select Eject and this will cause the tray to open up.
